Human Resources

Course Cancellation Policy

In these financially constrained times it is paramount that, for each course, the designated maximum number of participants attend. It is also essential that if staff withdraw their enrolment, they provide sufficient notice so that those staff on the waiting list have an opportunity to enrol.

Financial implications - HR courses with fees are heavily subsidised. The fee is not imposed to create a profit but to offset course costs. Cancellation without sufficient notice may have a negative impact on our budget. If people withdraw without providing sufficient notice, money spent on printing workbooks and catering is wasted.

To ensure that Human Resources courses are available to as many staff as possible and that they are cost-efficient, a cancellation policy will now apply from 1st May 2009.
